We all must have seen that the problem with solving problems is that unless our basic being is changed, nothing will eventuate of any real significance. We will remain the same.
All of us have an infinite capacity to create new problems. When we were young we had problems which have now disappeared. Where did those problems go? We didn’t solve them however- by and large they just disappeared.
We can’t even remember where they went or even what they were; not unless we try hard. The older we got, we developed a different set of problems and often they just disappeared and now we have a new set of problems.
It becomes clearer over time that we really need to change our consciousness and all of us learn new ways to do this; some like myself through meditation and daily self observation in all activities, others through dance, others through music and creativity and painting, others through exercise, martial arts, which can lead to a meditative zone, archery, swordsmanship, art or yoga.
But the key element to any fundamental change and a resolution of all our problems is a radical change in the basement of our being. With a new quality of consciousness old problems cannot exist: they simply disappear.
You know it takes a certain intelligence to get totally and thoroughly sick of yourself and to want to do something about your inner state. This is the beginning of a new dawn where you never look at life through the filter of the “problem creating factory called the mind.”
Not only the Mystics but Einstein also said that a problem can never be solved on the level at which it was created. If we can change our own level or state of awareness our problems will not be solved but will disappear like those problems we had as children.
How do you solve your basic problems? Is it through trial and error, effort, analysis, reflection, introspection, discussion, feedback, insight or meditation?
