Experiencing an Extreme Low

Experiencing an Extreme Low – Then Success

When we either start a new venture or want to expand an existing one it is first important to establish the “Why” as well as the “How.”

I’m writing this to introduce an essential ingredient that I’ve found is shared by all successful people, property investors, business operators or otherwise – the experiencing of an extreme low prior to a major success.

This low is needed to truly gain the mental strength to work through problems, whatever they are, firmly decided never to return to feelings of despair. When things seem to be taking care of themselves we can get away with perhaps, taking things for granted as I did many times, however in the long-term, it will be our skill rather than luck that sustains our progress.

Although it may not be necessary initially to know why you want to be successful, (apart from the obvious reasons), however sooner or later it will become critical that you identify a cause or vision that’s enough of a priority (i.e. a ‘must’ rather than a ‘maybe’) to provide the mental and emotional reserves you need to continue.

The first fundamental rule of success in any field is that your primary reason for starting the business, vocation, profession or venture in the first place (i.e. the WHY) is far more important than the wealth-creation strategy you employ to make money (i.e. the HOW).

Have you identified a non-financial passion or reason for your journey to success through the undertaking you have in mind? If not, when will you make it a priority to do so?

Are you searching for a magical HOW, when in fact the real cause of your problem is that you haven’t identified a compelling enough WHY?

So, first is the passion and then the strategies. If the passion is sufficiently strong there is virtually nothing that can stop us except perhaps calamities and tragedies.

Cheers
